Gilmor & Doyle :: Branding and Project Photographs

We’ve taken a break from wedding and engagement photography this weekend to concentrate on some project photographs we’ve done for a local Des Moines engineering firm.  I had a great time traveling all over Iowa to get some of these shots. As you can tell, these were taken when it was nice and warm outside! (Kind of embarassing how far behind these were in our post processing queue!) Enjoy!

West Zone Maintenance: LEED certified building:

NIACC Recreational Center:

Lowell Elementary:

Grout Museum Addition:

George Washington Carver Academy (unfortunately through a series of unanswered phone messages I could only get exterior shots):

Applington-Parkersburg High School:

State of Arkansas Library – Little Rock

I made my way down to Little Rock several weeks ago to take a look at a project that I’ve been involved in.  I was asked to bring my camera along to snap a few photographs of the place before it gets turned over to the state of Arkansas. I did just that. We also passed the time in the airport fiddling around with the camera.

None of these were shot by Sarah so quite a few of them are just ‘snapshots’. No professional lighting, no flash – just me with a 5D classic + 17-40. Enjoy.

Gilmor & Doyle :: Business Portraits

Still keeping busy! Last week I was able to sneak in some business portraits for a local engineering firm where Chris works. An amazing group of people and a lot of fun to be around.  I didn’t realize it, but I think engineering firms are soley responsible for keeping the energy drink companies in business.  It’s a miracle Chris is able to sleep at all!  Anyways, they all photograph’d very well and I’m excited to get the negatives over to them! Hope everyone has a great Monday!
