The Stone family are such good people. We’ve known them for quite some time and really enjoy getting together to hang out. They’ve moved from Iowa so when they came back for a visit Sarah snagged them for a few great family photos and a trip to Smokey Row for some ice cream. These are some of my favorites Sarah captured during their family shoot.

Every wedding I prepare for the blog I get so anxious. Do you ever get that feeling inside when you’ve got something to give someone, be it a birthday gift or anniversary present, that you just can not wait to give? These photographs gave me that sort of feeling. I wanted to get these done and uploaded as soon as I possibly could. The storm last night delayed this post longer as we lost power for most of the morning and part of the afternoon. Thanks to everyone for their patience!
Jess & Pat found out about us through a family member and gave us a shout when they decided on a photographer. They had us also photograph an engagement session for them in the fall last year as well as during the spring this year. It has been a lot of fun getting to know these two.
I also want to apologize again at the amount of photographs. There were so many fantastic moments that I had a hard time getting this post shrunk down to an acceptable size. Congratulations Pat & Jess! You guys are absolutely beautiful together!

It’s still us, but with a new name!
We understand that the site is a little plain, but we have a lot coming up content-wise that we think you’ll be excited about. Sarah and I are big believers in letting the imagery do the talking. No distractions, just lots of photographs.
The name change is a big move for us. Working with Push Branding and Design was a fantastic experience though! They helped us do a little soul searching and to examine who we are as a company and the message we wanted to send people. Lucky Soda stuck because we wanted something that sounded fun, goofy and maybe even had a bit of a ‘throwback’ vibe since we are both madly in love with classic movies. It was a good fit! We’re going to have a lot of fun with the new name at The Everything Bridal Show this year. Come checks us out in September!
There is a fantastic set of wedding images coming up this weekend of Jessica and Patrick so make sure you keep checking back! Thanks to everyone out there that have made us a success. We’ve had a wonderful and blessed 2010 so far and are really excited for what is in store for the rest of the year!
